I - Nomination
As part of our Academy's mission, WAALM wants to discover new talents and dedicated professionals who are contributing to Persian Culture around the world. This is not only to encourage and formally recognise talents but also to highlight their abilities and productions internationally. Therefore, this is now a great opportunity for the public to forward their nominations for a formal recognition of excellence in the next WAALM event.
If you know a talented artist, musician, writer, lyricist or poet and wish them to be recognised and eventually considered for an award of "Diploma of Excellence" from WAALM, please forward your nominations to us.

I - Nomination for Pop Music (Vocalists)
I - Nomination for Music (Instrumentalists)
I - Nomination for Literature
Who can nominate?
Every adult person can forward a nomination in the above categories.
Can I nominate myself?
Of course you can! We want to learn about your talents.
Who will be awarded?
Persians and non-Persians contributing to Persian culture around the world.
How will nominations be considered?
After having all the required materials and registration fee, all the nominations will be studied categorically by our Moderation Team for selection. Selected individuals will be announced formally on this website.
How many winners per category will be awarded?
1 winner per category
What should be provided?
- A short biography with a cover letter (including email and postal address of both nominator and nominee)
- A sample of nominee's latest work/production (Literature: in Print; Music: on CD and preferably on DVD)
- Registration fee: £50 (Outside UK + £10 bank charges)
What will happen if a nomination is successful and selected?
Selected nominees will be invited to attend the next WAALM to receive their Diplomas. Accommodations will normally be provided; the travel costs, however, will not be covered.
What if one could not make it to the next event?
If an awardee cannot make it to the event, s/he will be posted with his/her Diploma Award and s/he can send a recorded video speech to the Academy.
